Ordering is simple, easy and secure.
Browse the website and when you find something you like add the item to your basket. You can always view your basket, remove items, or change the quantities at the checkout before your order is processed.
When you have finished making your selections click on 'Checkout', and you will be asked for the details necessary to complete the order. There is no minimum order, but we do give discounts for larger orders.
Credit and Debit Cards
We accept most major credit card and debit cards - Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Delta and Electron cards. Enter the card details during the checkout process, and the payment will be authorized and charged through our secure payment processing gateway (Nochex) - please note that "Nochex" and not our website name will appear on your credit or debit card statement.
If you have a Paypal account, you can choose this option during checkout and payment will be taken from your Paypal balance or back-up bank card via the Paypal secure gateway.
If you wish to pay be cheque, place your order online, and select 'Cheque' under the Payment Method. Submit your order to us and then send off payment to the address below. Your items will be despatched once the cheque has cleared.

In case we are unable to ship the entire order and to avoid the necessity for credit notes or refunds, we suggest that you write across the bottom of the cheque 'Not to exceed £...(the total cost of your goods + shipping)' leaving the rest of the cheque unfilled.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. Any products on the same order that we have not confirmed in an invoice have been dispatched, do not form part of that contract.
Please note that in all cases payment is taken at the point of ordering, however if we are unable to fulfill part or all of an order a partial or full refund can be made to you.
|Credit Card Security|
We guarantee that every online purchase you make from our store is secure. All transactions take place over a secure server (via a 128-bit secure sockets layer or 'SSL') provided by the payment service provider Nochex or Paypal. Secure server software encrypts all your personal information, including name, address and credit card details before it leaves your computer. Our site uses the strongest commercially available level of encryption during processing and a yellow padlock appears in the bottom right hand corner of your browser as you enter the Checkout section of our site to show it is encrypted. All payments are processed by Nochex or Paypal and E-Beads & Crafts never has access to your credit card information.
Please note that we will never contact you via E-mail or telephone asking you to confirm your credit or debit card details.These are handled solely by Nochex and we do not have access to this information. Any E-mails asking you to confirm your card or bank details should be treated as suspicious.
Charges for postage and packing are always quoted separately but included in the overall cost you pay. E-Beads & Crafts reserves the right to change, without notice, any pricing in the case of error or in the case of a manufacturers increase in cost of materials. Our prices are constantly being reviewed but this should not affect your order. The price you will pay for an item will be as shown for that item at the time your order was placed.
Despite our best efforts, a small number of the products in our catalogue may be mis-priced. Rest assured, however, that we verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures. If a product's correct price is lower than our stated price, we charge the lower amount and send you the product. If a product's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatch or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.
For Business Customers
If you are ordering for business use, please note that we are not currently VAT registered and therefore cannot provide a VAT receipt. If this situation changes, we will give a minimum of 30 days' notice on this web page.
For International Customers
For any orders from outside the EU, you must agree to waive your product liability rights when ordering. We are unable to ship to you if you do not agree to this due to insurance restrictions.
We endeavour to keep all items displayed on the website in stock. Some products are invisible when they are not in stock although other products may be displayed with 'temporarily unavailable' text recorded below. Stock levels are checked when you add an item to your shopping basket and also when you checkout. In this way we hope to avoid any stock shortages, however this can sometimes occur because of damage or short deliveries. Each product has an approximate stock level visible on the website - please note this should be used as a guide only and should not be considered a guarantee that the product quantity is available.
We cannot guarantee that all items are immediately available, and orders for quantities larger than we usually keep in store, may be subject to a delay while we order in the stock from our suppliers. In the event your item is not in stock, we aim to email you to inform you of the situation. We will provide an approximate back order date (which will normally be 10-14 days, but subject to our suppliers' stock positions), offer you an alternative product, give you the option to cancel your order for the single item or entire order if you would rather not wait.
|Product Variations and Weights|
We endeavour to make the photographs and descriptions listed on the site as true to life as possible. However, it is not always possible to truly reflect the actual colour or texture of some products due to the nature of different internet browsers and monitor settings. Because of the type of products we offer, there can be minor variations in colour and style between batches. Also for handmade goods, or those constructed of natural materials, some small variations in size and/or colour should be expected. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Beads may discolour over time we cannot guarantee they will remain colourfast indefinitely. This is unavoidable, but we are happy to give a refund if you are unhappy with the colouring as we want to make sure that all customers will be delighted with their items.
All weights and quantities are estimated approximations only. Batches may vary very slightly in weight and content.
We reserve the right to alter our catalogue descriptions at any time.
We hope you will be delighted with your purchase from E-Beads & Crafts and we have a 100% commitment to customer satisfaction. We therefore operate a no quibbles guarantee which means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can simply return it to us within SEVEN DAYS from the date of invoice in the condition that it was despatched to you. Items can be exchanged for goods of the same value or for a full refund for the cost of the product, however please note the specific details below.
Please contact us prior to returning any goods so that we know they are on their way.
Damaged or Faulty Goods
Damaged, faulty, incomplete or incorrect orders must be communicated to us within three days; no responsibility can be accepted after this period. We will happily accept the return of any faulty goods and will provide a full exchange or refund for these items plus the postage costs incurred when returned within 7 days from the date of invoice. However, no replacement or refund will be given until we have received the item back from you.
Some very small proportion of breakages must be expected. We package all our good securely, but have no control over possible improper handling by Royal Mail or other delivery agencies. If it is felt that goods were seriously damaged in transit, then compensation may be claimed against the handler.
If for any other reason you are not completely satisfied with your order you can return any item within 7 days from the date of the invoice and receive a full refund or exchange, but please note postage costs in this case will not be refunded.
Replacement goods - If an exchange or replacement is requested, any items returned in a satisfactory condition will be credited but the replaced goods will be considered a new order. Sorry but we do have to charge postage again to ship out the replacement items to you.
Goods must be returned in their original packaging and should be unused and unopened.
If any sealed packets have been opened or damaged then we will class these as no longer being in their original condition and the products will therefore not qualify for a refund. We do not accept returns of beads that have been taken off their temporary string.
We cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to goods whilst they are being returned. Please ensure that returned goods are appropriately and securely packaged. We recommend recorded delivery or Royal Mail special delivery, or obtaining a free certificate of posting from the post office as proof of posting. Any returned items received after the 7 days will not be refunded.
In addition to informing us that the goods are being returned we ask you to please pop a note in with the returned goods quoting the original invoice number and a short explanation of what you require e.g. refund or exchange.
Where applicable, refunds will be made to the card that was used in the original purchase, or a cheque made payable to the cardholder if the card is no longer valid. In the case of payment by cheque a cheque will be issued payable to the original customer.
If a partial order is returned, products returned that formed part of a multiple that qualified for a discount will be refunded as if the reduced quantity had been ordered. E.g. 10 items ordered with 5% discount and 9 items subsequently returned - the refund will be the 10 pack cost less the full single item cost.
Where non-faulty goods are returned and the original order qualified for free postage and packing, and the total order amount is reduced to less than the free postage threshold, refunds will be given less the appropriate postage charge.
Please note that earrings, ear studs, ear fittings and piercings for the body are exempt from cancellation under the distance selling regulations as they are items that cannot be used by anyone else for hygiene reasons, and therefore cannot be returned to us if you change your mind or don't like them.
Magazines also cannot be returned.
Please be aware replacements or refunds over and above our statutory obligations are at our own discretion. We reserve the right to charge a handling fee on discretionary returns.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
